La Casa Encendida is a social and cultural centre run by Montemadrid Foundation, an open and dynamic space for all, in which some of the most avant-garde artistic expressions are combined with educational activities, reflection and debate, revolving around four areas: Culture, Solidarity, Environment and Education. Each of them develops diverse activities in response to the interests and demands of a public that is committed to and interested in current affairs.

Spanish Sign Language (Sign language)

La Casa Encendida provides hearing-impaired users who may need it with a sign-language interpreting service for lectures of less than two hours, if requested in advance.

Sustainable visit (Digital access)

To promote sustainability in transportation, La Casa Encendida suggests that you access it on foot or by bicycle. You can also get there by the city's usual means of public transport.

Fundación Montemadrid provides about 89% of La Casa Encendida’s annual budget, is an independent non-profit organisation that works to improve the lives of citizens through social, educational, cultural and environmental projects.
