Access preferences

Entrance (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)

Museum Speelklok is wheelchair accessible. All rooms are on one level or have ramps and there are no thresholds. There are two lifts that go to all floors.

Food (Food and allergies)

Lunch or coffee and cake can be served in the museum café for your group on request.

Groups (Group and Tours)

If you want to visit Museum Speelklok with a large group, you will need to make a reservation. There are special group rates for groups of more than 20 people and school groups. For reservations, contact info@museumspeelklok.nl or call +31 30 231 27 89.

Guide dogs (Animals)

If a visitor needs to be accompanied, their companion may accompany them free of charge. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at the museum. Will you need help with anything during your visit? If so, speak to one of our staff, we will be happy to help. Our colleagues are also familiar with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard.

Parking (Parking)

Parking spaces for visitors with physical disabilities are available on Visschersplein and Springweg. These parking spaces are owned by the Municipality of Utrecht so we are unable to reserve them in advance for visitors.

Restrooms (Accessible restrooms)

There is a toilet for wheelchair users on the ground floor. This toilet is equipped with an adapted washbasin, grab rails and a fold-down changing table.

Wheelchair and walker (General)

Two wheelchairs and a walker are available for use at the museum. Want to make use of one? Reserve one in advance by sending an e-mail to info@museumspeelklok.nl. Folding stools are also available at the ticket office for visitors who are unable to stand for long.
