There are HC toilets at the changing rooms behind the shop and reception, in the Science Center on level 1 and at the entrance to the Medical Museum on level 2. There is a HC toilet in the conference department with limited access, because the door pump is missing.

Tram line 11 or 12 Kjelsås from Jernbanetorget to Kjelsåsalléen or Subway to Storo, then tram line 11 or 12 Kjelsås. From Kjelsåsallée it takes only 10 minutes on foot. Follow Kjelsåsveien down until you see the museum on the right side of the road.

The amphitheater in the communications hall is equipped with a teleloop.
- Wheelchair accessible (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)
There is step-free access to the museum's entrance doors from the car park in front of the museum. The doors have automatic openers. There are no thresholds to the exhibitions and activity rooms. There are chairs, benches or sofas available on all floors of the museum, but not in all exhibitions. A stand with light stools, which can be taken around the museum, can be found in two places on level 2, opposite the main staircase and at the entrance to the Medical Museum. A staircase and a lift by the café lead to the conference department on the 1st floor, where there is step-free access to the auditorium and the two meeting rooms. The entrance to the auditorium is at the back of the hall. A wide staircase or a stairlift leads down to the stage. There is seating for wheelchair users at stage level and behind the back row of chairs. It is possible to park wheelchairs in front or at the back, and use the nearest seat.

There is free parking for museum visitors. The museum has five charging stations for electric cars. In addition, there are 4 municipal charging stations for electric cars in the parking area by the museum. Two HC parking spaces can be found close to the main entrance. You must have a valid HC certificate to use the handicap parking.
