Musée de la Romanité / Nimes Roman Museum

Musée de la Romanité is an archeological museum in the French city of Nîmes, opened on 2 June 2018.

Access preferences

Entrance (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs): There is a drop-off point just 50m from the entrance to the museum (near the restaurant Wine Bar – Le Cheval Blanc), to make the visit easier for people in a wheelchair.
Guide dogs (Animals): Guide dogs are permitted inside the museum
Tours (Group and Tours): Adapted tours are available in sign language for the deaf and hard of hearing, audio-descriptive tours for the visually impaired and “easy read” documentation.
Tours (Group and Tours): A tactile tour has been set up, leaving from the welcome desk (museum map) and leading into the permanent visitor’s tour with objects to touch, specially adapted to people who are either blind or visually impaired.
Wheelchairs (Getting around inside the museum): Three wheelchairs are available for visitors near the cloakroom and one of them can be booked in advance by calling the museum on +33 (0)4 48 210 200
