The Musée Fabre is a museum in the southern French city of Montpellier, capital of the Hérault département. The museum was founded by François-Xavier Fabre, a Montpellier painter, in 1825. Audio guides can be rented at reception for €3. Hearing-impaired visitors can benefit from a magnetic loop relay on request from the receptionists.

To allow you to discover our permanent collections independently, two applications with content in LSF are at your disposal:
- The video guide in LSF and text “Body Language. Bodily expressions in the masterpieces of the Fabre Museum", offers you an independent 90-minute tour around 13 masterpieces from our permanent collections.
- The “Hôtel de Cabrières - Sabatier d'Espeyran” application offers the general presentation in LSF of the entire mansion, which houses the museum's collections of decorative art objects and furniture. The tablets containing the application are available on request at the hotel reception.- Hearing impairement (Acoustic Experiences)
The ticket office is equipped with magnetic induction loops. They allow visitors equipped with hearing aids to better perceive sounds, particularly discussions with receptionists.
The auditorium, equipped with a magnetic loop system, programs films, conferences and other cultural or artistic events each season.- Mobility (Getting around inside the museum)
- The permanent collections are displayed on the floors of the three main buildings which constitute the museum. The entire route is accessible by three elevators (numbered 1 to 3 in the guide).
- The temporary exhibition room, whose programming is seasonal, is accessible on one level from the hall.
- Each season, the auditorium hosts a program of films, conferences and other cultural or artistic events. Access is from the hall via a gently sloping ramp. It has four spaces for wheelchairs.

The workshops, the documentation center, the bookstore and the restaurant are accessible via adapted paths.
- Reduced mobility (Getting around inside the museum)
Museum professionals were able to imagine new mediations, appealing to the senses, demonstration, participation... They also designed multi-sensory tools (models, painter's box, olfactory and sound devices, etc.) which illuminate and facilitate interventions so that everyone can find their visit to the museum a moment of pleasure and enrichment.

The changing rooms and toilets are accessible on one level.
- Special workshops (Workshops)
Most guided tours or artistic workshops are accessible to people with cognitive disabilities. Choreographed, musical or narrated visits, promoting the senses and perceptions, are recommended.
- Tours (Group and Tours)
Guided tours or adapted workshops are regularly scheduled for individual visitors. They offer multi-sensory approaches and devices. Workshops based on the manipulation of materials, tactile models and objects allow you to understand the techniques and access a more precise reading of certain works.
