The arts on eggs

The international collection displays perforated eggs from the Czech Republic, scraped eggs from Germany, traditional Slovenian eggs with cut- out straw or with metallic thread applied on. The egg-shaped British porcelain, the Venetian masks, the Austrian symbols are also magnificent artistic creations. The Greeks use mostly religious motifs applied on natural egg-shell or porcelain while the Russians paint icons on wood.
