Nitsch Museum
The nitsch museum in Mistelbach is one of the largest monographic museums in the Republic of Austria and sees itself as a place of contemplation and sensuality. Its architecture is based on the ideal plan of a monastery complex and comprises parts of the building known as the nave and aisles, choir, crypt or chapel, which are arranged around a central piazza. The artist's unbridled desire to penetrate to the real event, to the real experience and to the immediate, intensive perception of the senses and of being represents the starting point and the perpetual leitmotif for all exhibition activities and endeavours of the nitsch museum in Mistelbach.
