Do you know how people made fire, built a bow or made jewellery in the Stone Age? In our interactive family tours, you will learn all about life in the Stone Age and about our ancestors.

Multisensorial experience (Multisensory Experiences)

A floor guidance system, various tactile objects and an audio guide in German and English will guide you safely through the exhibition and turn your visit into an experience. You can download the audio guide (Neanderthal app) to your smartphone at home using the button below.

Marked barrier-free parking spaces are available in the central car park P1 directly in front of the museum.

Our interactive archaeotechnical and anthropological programmes are always based on the current biology and history curricula of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and are adapted to students/pupils of all ages.
