Access to the museum (General)

The main house with Foyer, the entrance to the Atriums 1+2 as well as 8+9, the cloakroom, the Museum Shop, the Media Theater, the Lecture Hall and the Restaurant can be accessed via the ground floor.

The ZKM | Museums and the Foyer are equipped with toilets for the disabled which are especially equipped with alarm systems.

Guided tours (Group and Tours)

Twice a month, the ZKM organizes accessible tours to which all people are welcome. The offer alternates between guided tours in simple language, sensory tours and simultaneous translation into German sign language.

Parking space for people with reduced mobility (Parking)

There are two marked parking lots for the disabled in the underground parking lot.
 These are located directly next to the turn-off to the parking lots located towards Südweststadt [the south west of the city]. The elevator leads from the underground garage directly to the ZKM main house.

Wheelchairs (Complementary Offer)

Should you require a wheelchair, please contact a member of staff at the Information Desk located in the ZKM_Foyer. Wheelchairs are available for the time of your visit.
