Throughout its existence, the Museum has consolidated its role as an advocate for the cultural and industrial heritage of the town and the county, thanks to the many dynamic initiatives of research and outreach undertaken by the Igualada Town Council with the support of its associative network.

Accessible entrance for wheelchairs (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)

The Museum is equipped with access ramps and elevators to provide accessibility to the exhibition rooms, as well as wheelchairs for those visitors who may require them.

Activities for schools (Education)

Programme of activities based around the universe of leather, water and the Rec district, as well as the heritage collection appealingly presented by the Museum: the Cal Granotes Tannery, The Festival House, L’Espelt Roman villa, the Sant Jaume Sesoliveres Church and the Cal Pasqual Gas Generator.

Children up to 12 years, teachers, members of the ICOM and members of the Associació de Museòlegs de Catalunya.

The Museum provides guided visits for groups (minimum 10 people) by prior arrangement
