Arkkitehtuurija designmuseo / Design Museum
Welcome to Design Museum, an internationally recognized national specialist museum of Finnish design. Design Museum researches, collects, stores and documents design, and displays it both in Finland and in touring exhibitions abroad. The museum building Design Museum is located in the Kaarti section of central Helsinki in the former building of the Brobergska Samskolan high school (architect Gustav Nyström 1895).

Guided tours are available in Finnish, English, Swedish, Russian, Plain Finnish, Finnish Sign Language and Finnish Audio Description.

We at the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Design Museum want to offer everyone a good museum experience and the chance to participate as themselves. We do not accept discrimination or harassment. We encourage people to learn and ask questions and to assume diversity as a starting point. - Wheelchair accessible (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)
Entrance for wheelchairs and prams from Ullanlinnankatu street (Ullanlinnankatu 4). Design Museum has an obstacle-free lift, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the basement level (floor K).
