Amos Rex
Amos Rex is an art museum named after the publisher and arts patron Amos Anderson and located in Lasipalatsi, on Mannerheimintie boulevard in Helsinki, Finland. People on the autist spectrum can get past the queue at the barrier-free entrance. We recognise the sunflower keychain for example, which signals an invisible disability.
- Entrance (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)
An accessible entrance with automatic doors is situated on the Lasipalatsi Square side. Those who use the accessible entrance can buy tickets in the museum shop.
Accessible elevators lead to all the museum’s floors. Exhibition halls are accessible and the doors are automatic there.
Amos Rex Shop is accessible. Bio Rex is not entirely accessible.- Free entrance for children, childcare stations (Children friendly)
Children under 18 years enter for free. A childcare station is available next to the cloakroom. Breast-feeding is allowed anywhere in the museum. Ear protectors for children can also be borrowed at the cloakroom.

Three accessible toilets are available on the exhibition level. A wheelchair can be loaned for the duration of your museum visit.

You may loan a light wheelchair from the info desk on the exhibition level to use during your visit. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance.
