The Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia in Barcelona offers more than 3000 m² of permanent exhibitions dedicated to presenting the historical roots of Catalonia, from Prehistory to the Early Middle Ages, framing them in their European and Mediterranean dimension. They exhibit a careful selection of objects from the important archaeological collections preserved by the institution.

Parking options (Parking)

The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona  does NOT have its own parking yet there are various options for parking nearby.

Wheelchairs and ramps (Accessible entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs)

Access to the museum entrance is via a ramp.
Access and circulation through the permanent and temporary exhibition rooms is adapted.
We have a wheelchair; if necessary, please contact the reception staff.
Access to the Auditorium for people with reduced mobility and/or in wheelchairs is via a specific itinerary.
