ARoS Aarhus Art Museum
Founded by citizens of Aarhus in 1859, Aarhus Kunstmuseum is Denmark’s largest art collection outside Copenhagen. The museum owns notable collections of Danish art that span 300 years plus a noteworthy contingent of modern art.
Access preferences
- Elevators & toilets (Getting around inside the museum)
An elevator leads up to the entrance from the parking lot, and elevators are available between floors. Handicap toilets: Level 4 near the cloakroom and at Level 3 near the Auditorium.
Wheelchairs and strollers can be borrowed during your visit at ARoS.

Free handicap parking at ARoS Allé at the entrance.
There is free parking for disabled people with disabled signs in all our car parks.- Photography (Photography)
It is allowed to photograph exhibits, art and architecture for private use. Sharing photos on social media from private profiles is also allowed. It is not allowed to bring photo stands, drones and the like.
